
Annemarie (Real Estate Salesperson) and Armin (Broker of Record) have a long history in the South Eastern Georgian Bay area.
In 1975, Armin began a successful career in Honey Harbour, specializing in waterfront home and cottage construction. Over the years he has tackled many projects including new cottage construction and renovation; septic and sewage system installation; dock and retaining wall construction; marina construction; pile driving, dredging and blasting; road building; and even moving of homes and cottages from island to island!
In 1991, Armin (Broker of Record) was elected to municipal council where he served a three-year term and sat on approximately 15 committees including the public works planning advisory committee. Armin is also the founding past president of the Chamber of Commerce for Honey Harbour, Port Severn and District, now called the South Eastern Georgian bay Chamber of Commerce. This broad knowledge of municipal affairs, construction & planning has been invaluable to both Annemarie & Armin in their real estate careers.
As a result their clients and customers are able to obtain valuable information about building and planning procedures, as well as reasonable approximations of costs involved in building or renovating. They frequently assist clients with their construction by obtaining minor variances, rezonings and building permits.
Annemarie (Real Estate Salesperson) has been involved in Real Estate since 1989 when she joined the Realty World System. She has also been quite involved in community affairs, serving as an instrumental member on a committee which was largely responsible for the improvement of waste collection systems in Georgian Bay Township as well as other various activities.
In 1994 Armin (Broker of Record) joined her and they became a very strong real estate team by combining their knowledge of the area and expertise. In 1996, they opened a satellite office for Re/max Georgian Bay Realty Ltd Brokerage, which quickly gained strength! Their sales continued to escalate and in the year 2000, they bought their own Re/Max Franchise and called it Re/Max Baywatch Ltd. Brokerage Their first year in their own franchise proved very successful with over 40 properties sold by the two of them. Their franchise includes all areas from Waubaushene to the Moon River along the Georgian Bay coastline; Little Lake and Gloucester Pool along the Trent Severn Waterway; as well as Six Mile Lake, Gibson Lake, Go Home Lake, and Galla Lake.
The following years were equally successful and Annemarie (Real Estate Salesperson) and Armin (Broker of Record) have consistently produced top sales in their Franchise area, and were awarded Re/max Chairman's Club (2004, 2005 & 2006) awards by Re/max Ontario Atlantic. Armin (Broker of Record) & Annemarie (Real Estate Salesperson) operate a four season real estate brokerage and are the only office in the Township to have a full time licensed assistant. They were one of the first Brokerages to operate their own website which has been an overwhelming success.
